Letter from Jaymie Ridless, President
As the third-generation owner of CTR/NY, I understand, as well as anyone could, the changes and evolution of this industry since 1945, when my father, just home from World War II, joined my grandfather in Cincinnati Time Recorder Distributors of New York.
I know how our company has responded through the years to incorporate new proficiencies, to quell fears and protect information and people alike. I've seen how it can streamline data to aid corporate managers, reduce payroll errors, document fair pay and streamline business projections. I know how, as a company, we have learned to safeguard and protect property and to secure the information on time-lines for safety and privacy, as well as income streams with state of the art technology.
While I have huge respect for the sophisticated systems that can now direct these challenges, I wasn't born yesterday into a field of data and programming.
I come from a heritage of professionals who have solved the problems of information access and security in conservative and practical ways. I've married their straightforward methods to my deep understanding of high-tech solutions and believe that the beauty of this blend lies in judicious use and appropriate tailoring of methods, directly answering individual needs.
Only an independent consultancy can truly offer and mold the best systems chosen from the world over. That is exactly what CTR/NY is designed to do and I am pleased to be carrying on the tradition and expanding its horizons.
